Nor I.
Probably with good reason though.
I'm the only one here right now....
Strange. I just thought of this place yesterday, for the first time in a very long while. This is my first post in over 2 years, lol.
This place really does feel empty...

Maybe it's the result of the cd. For me wasn't so good. It's not the same energy like with others.
But we are still here, supporting Placebo and trying to save this forum. |
Actually, I liked this album a fair bit more than the last two... But that's just me.
...Could be the fact that most of the band is no longer on the market. Brian's more or less married to his common-law partner, Helena Berg, who gave birth to their first child last fall. Steve, last I heard was getting hitched. I'm not sure whether or not that has happened yet. And who know's about Stef. ...but then again, that would only explain the lack of the crazy and obsessed fanatics. I guess, over the last two years the rest of us also got jobs/husbands/wifes/partners/kids/other.random.time.consuming.things...
Hey, I didn't get that friggin' e-mail either!!
I don't know why that is.. Maybe you clicked the box that you don't want to receive emails from the admins?

I said I liked Meds MORE than SWG & BMM, so in a sense I suppose we're agreeing. Although, I wouldn't go so far as saying I didn't like those albums. BMM & SWG both possessed songs and characteristics which I was able to appreciate; however, they lacked the sonic qualities of the previous two albums [and b-sides] which had initially drawn me in. With Meds, to me it sounded as though the band had found themselves again; as if they had come full circle, so to speak. It was very "Placebo", if you know what I mean. Furthermore, I loved the musical direction the album took, which undoubtedly was influenced by Dimitri Tikovoi's involvement. I do hope to see them work together again in the future.
Did u listen the new B*Sides?
Lazarus & uneedmemorethanineedu are great!
Desire, we are agree. Sorry if i didn't post before.
I'm really curious about the new b-sides, but I haven't bought the Meds single yet 'cause I'm pretty broke. So I'll just have to wait a couple of weeks and then I'm going to buy both of them I think

and dammit, I'm the only one online now, on a sunday afternoon! That's just stupid

I didn't receive an e-mail either, by the way
I finally have a computer again and I came back. I never posted much, anyway. I bet nobody remembers me either
